Consistent passenger laws

New passenger laws are valid in railway traffic in Germany since July, 29th 2009. They grant passengers consistent laws in all railway companies and are valid in suburban railways as well as in InterCityExpresses. These rights are independent from companies which run the trains. They are also valid for travel chains in trains of different companies which were used by only one ticket.
In cooperation with other railway companies, the EVB actively worked on a common compensation method of all part taking railway companies.
All information about compensation claims on delays, missed connections or failed trains can be found here or by this link: www.fahrgastrechte.info
