The OsteSprinter is the new express bus connecting Zeven, Sittensen and Tostedt.
The new connection offers a substantial improvement and for the first time optimal connections from Zeven, Sittensen and other locations along the route towards Tostedt and Hamburg.
The OsteSprinter at a glance:
- Frequent offer: twelve times a day between five a.m. and eight p.m.; in the morning and in the afternoon every hour.
- Optimal linking to the railway: direct connection in Tostedt to and from Hamburg
- Fast travelling-time: Zeven - Hamburg main station 86 min., Sittensen - Tostedt 22 min. for example
- Convenient vehicles: low-floor busses on duty

Trips from the administrative district of Rotenburg to Hamburg or into the HVV (with OsteSprinter and train "metronom"):
Single- and day-tickets (regional- and HVV-fare combined) are available on the bus.
Week- and monthtickets are very attractive because of the new transition fare: owners of a HVV season ticket have the opportunity to buy reasonably priced additional tickets.
HVV season tickets are available at the HVV service point at Tostedt station. Opening hours: mo - fr 5.45 am to 12 am and 2 pm to 4 pm. Additional tickets are available on the bus.

Line 4860 Halvesbostel - Heidenau - Tostedt
More trips and good connections
This new line substitutes the former bus concentrated on pupils transportation and offers the communities of Halvesbostel and Heidenau more frequent connections to Tostedt.
Between Heidenau and Tostedt the offer is nearly doubled: on working days the bus goes ten times a day to the centre of Tostedt and its station!
The localities of Halvesbostel and Holvede, only reached in the morning and at midday by pupils transportation so far, now obtain a full-value connection to Tostedt and Hamburg for the first time with six return trips a day (inclusive holiday time)!
In Tostedt we provide direct connections to the "metronom"- (ME) and "metronom regional"-trains (MEr) direction Buchholz i.d. Nordheide and Hamburg. Busses wait for metronom trains from Hamburg delayed up to 10 min.
