Goods transport with EVB-owned trains
Mostly containers and on request bulk freight is transported with whole EVB-owned trains. Since 2000 we run a couple of container trains in the Elbe-Weser-Triangle. For this our trains have a time-table that can be extended if necessary. Main stations are the sea ports Hamburg (Waltershof, Altenwerder), Bremerhaven and Bremen Roland.
NTT 2000
As a joint-venture we founded the NTT 2000 ltd. (Neutral Triangle Train) together with the shippers ACOS and Eurogate Intermodal ltd. in 2000. The Rhenus-Group became the fourth shareholder of the society in 2003. Up to 80 standard-containers are moved by this train called NTT 2000. Condcurrently with the establishment of NTT 2000 the associated company Trimodal Logistik ltd. was founded by the same shareholders. It is responsible for marketing and an optimised organisation of goods transport between rail, street, inland water and feeders.
