Where can I get a season ticket?

Busses: Within the VBN and VNN you can get your season ticket directly by the bus driver or in the EVB headquaters in Zeven; exceptions apply for a yearly subscription ticket – order this directly at the VBN (subscription request).
The first time you buy a season ticket, please do not forget to get your personal VBN customer card. This is necessary to document your customer number and the pay scale areas you are allowed to use. You can only obtain this at the VBN ticket offices – or: ask the driver for the form, fill it in and hand it back to the driver; after a couple of days the customer card will be sent by mail to your home. It is also possible to download the form here.
All VBN season tickets and general seasonal tickets in the pay scale area of the VNN regional tariff are transferable, exept for the VBN-subscription tickets and saver-tickets within the regional tariff.
Obtain your HVV season tickets at the HVV service offices – one of those is the EVB travel agency in Harsefeld.
Trains: Concerning the transport in trains, please get you VBN season ticket and tickets of the EVB inner tariff at the vending machine on the train, on the platforms or at the EVB travel agencies. Get your HVV weekly, monthly, CC and senior citizen tickets at the vending machines. For all other season tickets you need to contact an HVV service office, such as the EVB travel agency in Harsefeld.

Wheelchairs and guide dogs are also transported for free.
On the line of the Nordseebahn (Bremerhaven – Cuxhaven) all severely disabled persons with a valid ID can use the train for free within a 50 km surrounding of their home (compare Deutsche Bahn terms and conditions).
On the Moorexpress we ask you to pay the children tariff.

May I transport my bike on the bus / on the train?

Busses: The transport of bicycles and larger scooters costs you a ticket for children. Keep in mind that one person can only transport one bike. Usually two bicycles can be transported on a single bus. You do not have a legal right to carry your bike with you on the bus.
Usually you can take your bike on all EVB busses, but wheelchairs and children’s push chairs enjoy priority. In case of high passenger numbers it is possible that the bus driver has to tell you to take another mean of transport or to wait for the next bus.
On the bus and during (dis-)embarkment the cyclist is responsible to avoid any safety losses, danger and damages caused by the bicycle. You are liable for all such harm caused by your bike.
Trains: On all EVB trains the EVB terms and conditions apply (as on the busses). Within the area of the VBN a ticket for your bike costs 1.20 € for a short trip and 4.00 € for the whole area. Within the EVB inner tariff and on EVB trains within the HVV area bicycle tickets cost 3.00 €.
Please keep in mind that it is forbidden to take your bicycle on the U-Bahn and the S-Bahn in Hamburg between 6 am and 9 am and 4 pm and 6 pm on working days.
Exceptions:
- Some power cars (LINT 41; blue trains) are able to carry 10 instead of 5 bikes during the summer season (May – September).
- Some trains (Product 628, magenta trains) can carry 10 bikes per power car.
Moorexpress:
The Moorexpress can carry up to 30 bikes. A single bike ticket costs 3.00 €. Please register befor the trip with the tourist information of Worpswede and the Teufelsmoor:
