The stations along the EVB-rail-network also belong mainly to the EVB company.The utilization of these facilities has been changed partly in the course of time. Creative artists, regional artists and actors have let down at different locations and use the facilities as studios, rehearsal rooms etc.
EVB obtained the "special prize for contacts to culture"

EVB has obtained the "special prize for contacts to culture" on 11/12/07 at Cuxhaven castle "Ritzebüttel" for its efforts.This honour is given for successful and sustainable cooperations between economy and culture.The event is under the patronage of lower saxony`s minister for economic affairs.

EVB received the award because of the long-time cooperation with the artists-group "Letztes Kleinod". These creative artists use the EVB-station in Geestenseth community of Schiffdorf, administrative district of Cuxhaven) to organize theatre productions.
The former freight shed serves as a location for rehearsals.
