Train maintenance depot in Bremervörde
In 2003 we opened up a new hall for all train maintenance and repair services. It comprises a maintenance hall with three 60-metre tracks, a train wash plant and a filling station for diesel-electric trains and locomotives.
The depot looks back on a long tradition: since the early twentieth century trains have been maintained here.
In 1909 the Bremervörde-Osterholz Railway (BOE) built up the first maintenance depot for trains here. Those buildings were used until 2003 and havent been demolished.
Inside the modern hall we have three tracks with a length of 60 metres available.
This is because our personnel is able to care for different locomotives or trains at the same time.
Our core business is repairing and maintaining DMU's (diesel-motor-units), diesel electric trainsets and cargo wagons, etc.
All standard and usual works can be undertaken, even for non EVB trains.
Our performances in detail:
- All periodically works
- Check after German statutory rules (§32(2) EBO)
- Exchange of components
- Troubleshooting
